Roseburg's Vanessa Bentley has been named the 'player of the year' in the Southern Oregon Conference.

The junior setter helped guide the Indians to an 8-0 league record and the 2011 conference title. She was joined on the first team by teammates Anna Bruns (OH); Stephanie Griggs (MB); and Cally Tovey (L).

Second team honors went to junior Terrin Misfeldt and sophomore Raluca Gosman.

Meanwhile, sophomore setter Kiana Cash was an honorable mention selection.
