Emily Burch had a game-high 20 points in a 67-55 win over Umpqua Community College during the third place game Sunday afternoon at the Clark College Crossover tournament in Vancouver, Washington.

Samantha Thornton and Baylie Smith scored 15 points apiece as the Riverhawks (7-6) finished with a record of 1-2 at the three-day event.

UCC opened with a 69-55 victory over Whatcom, but lost 76-65 to Walla Walla in Saturday's semifinal game.

Umpqua begins conference action January 7 at Chemeketa.
