Two girls soccer players in Douglas County were selected first team all-state by The Oregonian.

Senior midfielder Brooke Strawn of Roseburg was among the top 6A players in Oregon, while Sutherlin sophomore Kylee Carson was named first team in Class 4A.

Player of the year honors went to Tualatin's Anna-Marie Popma (6A); Sherwood's Meghan Schoen and Jessica Imbrie (5A); and Gladstone's Amber Jensen (4A).

The state's top coaches were Tualatin's Rosie Rocha (6A); Sherwood's Bill Brown (5A); and Nik Goertzen of Sisters (4A).
