A pair of Roseburg soccer players will continue their playing careers in college.

Southern Oregon Conference 'player of the year' Brooke Strawn is headed to the University of Oregon, while teammate Hannah Russo has signed a letter of intent to play at Oregon State University in Corvallis.

"This is the first time in RHS girls soccer history that we have players moving on to play Division one level soccer," Roseburg head coach Adam Blue said. "I'm proud of these young ladies and their accomplishments and they will represent the 'Burg well in the Pac-12."

This past season, the Indians (5-3, 9-6) finished third in the SOC and were eliminated in the first round of the OSAA playoffs.
