The Glide Wildcats will enter the postseason as the fifth ranked team in Class 3A baseball.

The Sunset Conference champions received 36 points and moved up one spot in the final coaches poll of the year. Glide finished the regular season with a record of 8-1 in league and 18-4 overall.

Horizon Christian (58) topped the poll earning four of the six first-place votes followed by Santiam Christian (52); Cascade Christian (45); Pleasant Hill (43); Glide (36); Burns (23); Rainier (22); Valley Catholic (18); Vale (15); and Bandon (13).

The Wildcats will host an opening round playoff game on Monday, May 21.
