The girls tennis team at Roseburg High School has the highest grade point average compared to all of the other spring sports teams in Douglas County.

The Indians have a 3.80 GPA placing them second in Class 6A.

Four other teams at RHS finished among the top 10 in their individual classifications, including boys golf (3.61); band (3.63); baseball (3.38); and choir (3.38).

Umpqua Valley Christian's softball (3.72) and baseball (3.40) teams were recognized, as well as North Douglas softball (3.57) and the Warrior band (3.35). Finally, the girls track and field squads at South Umpqua (3.71) and Oakland (3.62) also made the list.

The OSAA and the Dairy Farmers of Oregon teamed up for the 15th year to sponsor the Academic All-State Award recognizing excellence in the classroom throughout the state.
