South Umpqua won a pair of one-run games over North Bend during a Far West League doubleheader Monday afternoon in Tri City.

 

Justin Bennett had three hits including the game-ending double in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Lancers took the opener 4-3.

SU (10-2, 12-7) completed the sweep with a 7-6 victory in game two.

The Lancers need just one win in their final three games to capture the Far West League championship and the number one seed in the upcoming 4A play-in round.
