Roseburg earned a trip to the OSAA Class 6A state quarterfinals thanks to a 4-1 win over Southridge Wednesday afternoon at Legion Field.

Righthander Jared Priestley struck out nine batters over seven innings of work and hit a home run for the second consecutive game as the Indians improved to 23-2 on the season.

Next up, RHS will travel to Beaverton on Friday.

The Roseburg softball team had its season come to an end after suffering a 3-2 loss in nine innings to number one ranked North Medford.
