Eight Roseburg Indians were among the players named to the Southern Oregon Hybrid all-conference softball teams.

Junior Makinna Akers (P) joined seniors Meghan Sanders (IF) and Hailey Averett (OF) on the first team after helping guide the Indians to a 16-9 overall record and a second place finish in the conference.

Second team selections included freshman Jacey Conklin (C), Megan Larkin (IF), Sydney Reynolds (IF) and Allyssa Hunt (U/DH).

Senior Beccah Maley (IF) was named honorable mention.

Conference champion North Medford swept the top honors with Joci Ellis named player of the year; junior Maryssa Becker was the pitcher of the year; and Mike Mayben was coach of the year.
