A former Roseburg High School and Dr. Stewart's American Legion baseball player is taking over the program at Western Oregon University in Monmouth.
Kellen Walker was recently named the interim head coach through the 2013 season. He replaces Jeremiah Robbins who accepted the head coaching job at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho.
Walker spent the past six seasons with Western Oregon serving as the team's hitting coach.
