Dr. Stewart's jumped right back into the hunt for an 'AAA' Area 4 title with a doubleheader sweep over Medford Tuesday night at Harry and David Field.

David Irvine had three hits in the opener and righthander Mike Morin got the win in a 6-5 Roseburg victory.

The Doc's (3-3, 13-13) erased a one-run deficit by scoring 11 times in the top of the third inning and cruised to a 17-8 win in the nightcap. Roseburg's Noah Miller hit a grand slam and had a game-high six RBI's.

The Mustangs dropped to 2-4 in league and 16-12 overall.
