Roseburg's season came to an end Sunday at the triple-A American Legion baseball Super Regional in Eugene.

The Docs (21-25) were beaten by the host Challengers 8-5 and 11-1 during the final day of the double elimination tournament at Swede Johnson Stadium.

Dr. Stewart's won the first two games before being eliminated by their Area 4 rival.

With the victories, Eugene (43-13) earns one of the eight spots at the state tournament.
