Organizers are still fielding teams for the upcoming Amos Osborne Invitational softball tournament at this year's Winston Melon Festival. 

The single day co-ed tourney takes place September 8th, 2012. There is a three-game guarantee for all participating squads. The fee to enter a team is $150.

The tournament is in honor of the late Amos Osborne, a veteran that the field is named after and dedicated to. The non-profit tournament proceeds will be donated to maintaining the field and keeping awareness of the field high.

Trophies will be given out and prizes awarded throughout the tournament.
