Umpqua Community College finished 3-2 at this weekend's volleyball tournament in Spokane, Washington.

On Saturday, the Riverhawks (11-9) lost to Olympic 3-1 and beat Shoreline 3-2. Kendahl Weiland had 45 kills on the afternoon, while teammate Linsey Jones finished with 23 kills. Defensively, Burkleigh Ford and Allahna Hartwick combined for 22 blocks.

"We competed pretty well, but have yet to play our best volleyball of the season," head coach Chris Werner said. "The NWAACC is full of talented players and great coaches, so we approach every team as the underdog and I am proud of what we have accomplished thus far."

UCC's Alexis Ruffing led the team with 44 digs.
