After trailing much of the match Tuesday, the Willamette girls soccer team came from behind, scoring two second half goals to defeat Roseburg 2-1 at Finlay Field in Roseburg.

With the loss, Roseburg falls to 0-2 on the season. Both of the Indians' losses have been by one goal. Roseburg will hit the road Saturday when they travel to Southridge on September 15.

In the only other girls soccer match in Douglas County, Glide bested Hidden Valley 5-3.

In boys soccer, Sutherlin downed Pacific 3-2 and South Umqpua and Douglas played to a 3-3 tie.
