It's week four of the high school football season and a dozen Douglas County teams are in action Friday.

Roseburg (0-1, 1-2) tries to break a two-game losing streak when the Indians welcome Thurston (1-0, 1-2) in a Southwest Conference game at Finlay Field. The Colts are coming off last week's 20-7 upset of South Medford.

The Douglas Trojans (1-2) try to get back in the win column at Hidden Valley (3-0); South Umpqua (0-3) hosts Bandon (0-2); Sutherlin (1-2) is at Sweet Home (1-2); unbeaten Glide (4-0) goes after its fourth consecutive win to start the season at Illinois Valley (1-2); Glendale (1-1) hosts Rogue River (0-2); North Douglas (1-2) entertains Chemawa (1-1); Oakland (2-0) is on the road with Scio (2-1); and Reedsport (0-0, 1-2) opens league action at Bonanza (1-0, 1-1);

Elsewhere, top-ranked Camas Valley (2-0, 3-0) travels to North Lake (0-1, 0-2); Elkton (2-0, 2-1) tries to stay unbeaten in the Skyline League at Butte Falls (0-3, 0-3); and Yoncalla (1-1) plays its conference opener at Lowell (2-1).
