The Roseburg High School volleyball team will be hosting a fundraising event to benefit Douglas County Cancer Services.
The Indians play host to North Medford on Thursday, October 4 in the third annual Dig Hope event. Both teams will be wearing pink jerseys to help raise awareness about the services DCCS provides to members of our community.
"We're asking community members to pledge money for the number of digs made during the varsity match," event volunteer Chris Bruns said. "The event helps raise badly needed funds for Douglas County Cancer Services, plus it teaches our young people that by working together we really can accomplish something that will make a difference in somebody's life."
The varsity match begins at 7:00PM and all fans are encouraged to wear pink.
