Roseburg solidified its hold on the second place with a 2-1 win over Grants Pass during a Southern Oregon Conference girls soccer game Tuesday at Finlay Field.

With the victory, the Indians (3-1) kept pace with first-place North Medford (4-0) after the Black Tornado's 5-1 win over cross town rival South Medford.

Sutherlin (3-1) upended Douglas 7-0 to stay within a game of unbeaten North Bend in the Far West League. The Bulldogs (4-0) blew out South Umpqua 10-0.

In Special District 4, Glide (1-1) earned its first league win with a 4-0 triumph at Illinois Valley (1-2).
