Top-ranked Siuslaw never trailed on its way to a 28-14 win over Douglas in a Far West League football game Thursday night in Winston.

The Vikings (3-0, 6-0) capitalized early when the Trojans fumbled the opening kickoff and scored just two plays later to take a 7-0 lead. Siuslaw stretched the advantage to 14-0 before Douglas (1-2, 3-4) cut the lead in half on a Jordan Shaffer touchdown pass to Nate Vosika.

Vosika scored again on a 12 yard TD run to tie the game midway through the third quarter, but the Vikings added a pair of touchdowns to finish out the 14-point victory.
