There were a limited number of local soccer teams in action Saturday afternoon.

Roseburg (4-1-1) had trouble finding the net in a 0-0 tie with South Medford (2-2-2) during a girls' Southern Oregon Conference game on the Panthers home field; and Glide (3-1) won its Special District 4 match with a 3-2 overtime victory over Cascade Christian.

On the boys' side, South Medford (4-2) beat Roseburg (2-4) by a score of 1-0; Glide was beaten by Rogue River 2-1; and Canyonville Christian (3-1) lost to Cascade Christian 1-0 in a shootout.
