Roseburg handed previously unbeaten North Medford its first league loss of the season.

The Indians (5-1-1) beat the Black Tornado 2-1 in a Southern Oregon Conference girls soccer game Tuesday night at Finlay Field.

During the teams previous meeting on September 29, North Medford (6-1) beat RHS 4-0.

Outside hitter Gabby Kearney had 12 kills and Kiana Cash added 29 assists in Roseburg's straight set win over visiting Ashland.

The Indians won the match 25-13, 25-11, 25-19.
