Two Douglas County soccer players and a pair of coaches received their league's top awards for 2012.

Glide senior midfielder Caroline Brown was named the District 4 Player of the Year; Roseburg's Adam Blue was selected as the Southern Oregon Conference Coach of the Year; and Canyonville Christian's Clement Dushimimana and head coach Mike Stansberry swept the boys District 4 honors.  

Brown was joined on the first-team by teammates Kali Vickery, Madison Gladding and sophomore Hayley Livingston, who was also named Co-Goalkeeper of the Year.

Blue was not the only Indian to earn recognition in the fall with senior Tristen Gilbert and juniors Chelsey Luiz and Raechel Warren making first team all-league.

The District 4 all stars also included Umpqua Valley Christian's Joel Graham and John Giraudo; and Roseburg's Jacob Noland was named first team all-league in the Southern Oregon Conference.
