Four Douglas County football teams begin their quest for a state championship Friday night.

Roseburg (5-5) takes a three-game winning streak into its Class 6A playoff game at Gresham. The Gophers (8-1) are the number two team out of the Mt. Hood Conference.

Elsewhere, the Douglas Trojans (6-4) face Oregon West Conference champion Cascade (8-1) in the Class 4A playoffs; 3A Glide (7-3) travels to Tualatin for a first-round match up with Horizon Christian (6-2); and 1A Elkton (6-3) is in the playoffs for the first time in 19 years. The Elks will play at Sherman (7-2).

All games are set for 7:00PM
