Roseburg was one of three Douglas County football team to win its opening round playoff game this weekend.The Indians (6-5) were successful on a two-point conversion in the second overtime and beat Gresham 39-38.
Trailing 24-21 in the final seconds, Roseburg's Travis Dever kicked a 30-yard field goal to send the game into overtime. Hayden Lent scored on a 12 yard touchdown run, but Gresham would tie the game at 31.
The Gophers scored quickly in the second extra session before RHS answered with a touchdown and won the game when Lent hooked up with Chandler Haskett.
Elsewhere Friday night, Douglas lost to Cascade 40-21; Glide was eliminated by Horizon Christian 31-13; and Elkton was outscored by Sherman 54-40.
On Saturday, Oakland blew out Enterprise 65-12; and Camas Valley made quick work of Cove 94-12.
