Days Creek fell short in its bid for a second straight Class 2A volleyball state championship.

Culver beat the Wolves 13-25, 25-22, 16-25, 25-22, 15-11 in the title game Saturday night at Ridgeview High School in Redmond.

Reedsport took home the third-place trophy with a four-set victory over Heppner; and North Douglas made it to the consolation final before losing Grant Union 25-16, 25-20, 27-25.
