The Umpqua Community College volleyball team finished in fifth place at the 2012 NWAACC Championships.

On Saturday, the Riverhawks won their third consecutive match with a victory over Green River before losing to Walla Walla at the 16-team tournament.

Umpqua ended the season with an overall record of 31-19.

The NWAACC Championships runs through Sunday at Mount Hood Community College in Gresham.
