The Oakland Oakers are headed to the OSAA Class 2A state title game after beating Central Linn 34-28 Saturday at Cottage Grove High School.

Ryan Comstock scored four touchdowns in the first half and David Henry had the game-winning TD in the fourth quarter to lead the Oakers (10-2) to the victory.

Camas Valley is headed back to the OSAA Class 1A state championship football game for the third straight season.

The Hornets (12-0) won for the 26th consecutive time with a 40-12 victory over Imbler (10-1) in a semifinal game Saturday at Hillsboro Stadium.

Trailing 12-8 in the second quarter, quarterback Josh Mattox rushed for a pair of touchdowns as Camas Valley took a 28-12 lead at halftime. Both teams went scoreless in the third quarter before the Hornets scored twice in the final period.

Senior running back Eli Wolfe rushed for 224 yards and two touchdowns.
