A pair of OSAA football championship trophies have made their way to Douglas County.

Camas Valley (13-0) beat St. Paul 24-8 to win its second straight Class 1A title; and Oakland upended Portland Christian 50-27 to capture the 2A championship on Saturday.

Running back Josh Garcia scored twice and quarterback Josh Mattox threw two touchdown passes in the Hornets' victory at Cottage Grove High School.

Senior Eli Wolfe carried the ball 20 times for 86 yards and one TD (5).     

At Hillsboro Stadium, David Henry rushed for 264 yards and four touchdowns to lift Oakland to a 23-point win in the Class 2A finale.

The senior tailback scored on runs of 77, 10, 19 and 50 yards as the Oakers took home their first state title since 1964.

Austin Nix got the scoring started on a 20 yard TD reception from Logan O'Hara. Oakland would stretch the lead to 21-0 on a Henry touchdown run and a 14 yard scamper by Jeb Harper.

Oakland finished the season with an overall record of 11-2.
