Roseburg is now just one victory away from earning a spot at the upcoming Class 6A state tournament in Portland.

On Tuesday, the Indians (18-6) beat visiting Beaverton 73-53 in a first round playoff game at Stewart Robertson Memorial Gymnasium.

Conference co-MVP Alex Johnson poured-in 31 points and junior Carson Reid scored 15 points in the victory.
