The Oakland Oakers are one victory away from winning the Class 2A state title.

Jeb Harper had 16 points as the Mountain View Conference champions upended Pilot Rock 50-42 in a semifinal game Friday night at the Pendleton Convention Center.

Connor Dolan finished with 11 points and Colton Reber added 10 as the Oakers improved to 23-5 on the season.

Next up, Oakland faces unbeaten Irrigon in Saturday's championship game.

Elkton suffered a 53-52 loss to City Christian in a semifinal game at the 1A state tournament in Baker City. Tracey Doudna led the Elks (20-8) with 20 points.

Elkton plays Hosanna Christian for the third-place trophy Saturday at 3:15PM.

The Roseburg boys ended their season one win shy of making the 6A state tournament losing to Grant 48-36 Friday night in Portland.

The Indians finished the year with an overall record of 18-7.
