Umpqua Community College basketball teams dropped a pair of games by a total of four points Wednesday night in Roseburg.

On the womens' side, the Riverhawks (4-5, 14-8) lost to Southwestern Oregon 83-81. Four UCC players scored in double figures led by Asia Smith (20); Leilani Morris (18); Kyndal Charleston (14); and Rachel Sample (13).

Jared Knox scored a game-high 24 points in a 68-66 setback to the Lakers.

With the loss, Umpqua falls to 3-6 in league and 6-14 overall.
