South Umpqua lost for the fourth time in five games thanks to a 59-45 setback at the hands of Siuslaw.

Austin Page led the team with 19 points as the Lancers (4-6, 12-11) finished the regular season in fifth place in the Far West League.

Despite the loss, SU still has a solid chance to earn one of the remaining two spots in next week's Class 4A play-in round.

Sutherlin captured the league's number two seed with a 63-50 win at Brookings-Harbor.
