Oakland is the best 2A boys basketball team in the state of Oregon.

The Oakers (24-5) proved it by upending previously unbeaten Irrigon 60-54 to win the 2013 state title Saturday night at the Pendleton Convention Center.

Colton Reber and Roy Benzel led a balanced scoring attack with 11 points each.

Austin Collins and Jeb Harper finished with nine points apiece; Austin Nix had seven points; and Connor Dolan added six points.
