Elkton took home the fifth-place trophy at the 2013 OSAA Class 1A boys basketball state tournament in Baker City.

The Elks (20-9) struggled early in a 58-49 loss to Hosanna Christian Wedneday afternoon. The Skyline League champs fell behind 14-3 after the opening quarter and never led in the entire game.

Four players scored in double figures including Tracey Doudna (14); Colton Maxwwell (14); Brandon Bowen (11); and John Evoniuk (10).
