Defending four-time conference champion Roseburg is picked third in the preseason baseball coaches' poll.

North Medford (16) received four first-place votes, while Crater (12) finished number two in the voting.
 
The Indians (11) were right behind the Comets followed by Grants Pass (6) and South Medford (5).

Roseburg and North Medford shared the Southwest Conference title in 2009, but RHS won it outright in 2010. The Indians also captured the 6A Southern Oregon Hybrid titles in 2011 and 2012.
