Douglas handed first-place Sutherlin its first league loss of the season Friday afternoon in Winston.

The Bulldogs (5-1, 8-8) won the opener 7-2, but the Trojans took the nightcap 11-10.

With the victory, Douglas (4-2, 9-4) stays one game in back of Sutherlin in the Far West League standings.
