The Sunset Conference Player of the Year honors were shared by a pair of Glide High School teammates.

Seniors Brenden Fricke (1B) and Brandon Halter (P) split the league's top award and head coach Al Skinner was named Coach of the Year after leading the Wildcats to a 26-2 record and a trip to the Class 3A state semifinals.

Joining Fricke and Halter on the first team were Glide's Jacob Fricke (P), Cory Finlay (IF), Jake Livingston (IF), Zach Rose (OF), Tylan DuBois (OF) and Tanner Shaddy (OF).

Umpqua Valley Christian's Jake Forrester and head coach Dave York were selected as District 4's top player and coach.

The Monarchs (25-6) lost to Grant Union in the Class 2A/1A championhship game.

Rounding out the first team were UVC's Greg Suhrstedt (C), Cooper Tharp (IF), Bryant Perez (OF), Ian Dahl (OF) and Joel Graham (U); Riddle's Erik Rogers (P), AJ Davis (IF) and Josh Carpine (OF); Yoncalla's Dylan Dover (C) and Jalen Walton (IF); Oakland's Ryan Comstock (IF) and Jordan Bailey (DH); North Douglas's Tracy Doudna (P); and James Hixenbaugh (1B) of Reedsport.
