The Camas Valley boys finished in second place at the OSAA 1A state track and field state championships in Eugene.
The 4X100 meter relay team of Caleb Lindsey, Theran Hunt, Eli Wolfe and Weston Tilton won the title in their event, while the 4X400 relay team of Tilton, Kai Wolfe, Eli Wolfe and Brad Dancer took second.
Lindsey also finished second in the 100 meter dash and third in the 200 meters; and Tilton was the runner-up in the 300m hurdles.
The Hornets (50) lost out on the team title to 1A champion Southwest Christian (63.50).
Gabrielle Kearney (2nd javelin) and Jason Bergold (3rd pole vault) were Roseburg's top finishers at the 6A event; Douglas High's Alex Jellison (pole vault) and Anna Reitmann (triple jump) both took home second place medals; Sutherlin's Christina MacDonald was second in the javelin; and South Umpqua's Trevor Duffy was the runner-up in the shot put.
There were three individual champions from Douglas County at the 2A state meet including Oakland's Savannah Swan (discus); and Reedsport's Mike Mitchell (high jump) and Hayden Hinshaw (pole vault).
