Douglas High's Sadie Birch and Glide infielder Jordan Parazoo have earned their league's top honor.

Birch was named the Far West League's Player of the Year and Parazoo was selected the best in 2013 in 3A Sunset Conference.

Local Far West League first teamers include Ana Dupper (P), Shal Holcomb (1B), and Justine Bringhurst (OF) of Douglas; Sutherlin's Cheylin Malinoff (P), Kelsea Knee (IF), Caylin Hobgood (IF), Kylie Atterbury (IF) and Jennifer Hults (OF); along with South Umpqua's Renae Scholfield (P), Heylea Lowell (IF) and Shelby Boyd (OF).

Joining Parazoo on the Sunset Conference's first team were Glide teammates Heather Graham (P), Amanda hatley (C), Natalie Cordell (IF), Alexa Evans (OF) and Emily Deardorff (OF).
