Roseburg erased a six-run deficit to beat Eugene 7-6 in the opening game of an Area 4 doubleheader Monday night at Legion Field.

The Docs (2-0, 7-1) were held hitless through the first five innings before exploding for six runs and six hits in the sixth inning.

David Irvine scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Roseburg the come-from-behind victory.

Dr. Stewart's completed the sweep with a 4-2 victory in the nightcap.
