Former Oakland High and Umpqua Community College basketball player Coleton Baker is transferring to Northwest Christian University in Eugene.

Baker played one season at the University of Oregon and will have one remaining year of eligibility with the Beacons.

The former first team all-state prep performer spent two seasons at UCC where he was a first-team all-conference selection in 2012 and led the NWAACC Southern Region in scoring with more than 24 points per game.

Northwest Christian is coached by former Oregon Duck basketball star Luke Jackson.
