Central Point has been crowned champion of the 2013 single-A American Legion baseball regional tournament.

The Oregon state champs finished 5-0 at the eight-team event, including a 10-0 victory over Northern Utah in the title game Tuesday afternoon in Wheatland, Wyoming.  

The Comets (40-13) qualified for the regional tournament after beating Roseburg Pepsi in the state championship game at Legion Field.
