Local football fans will have plenty of games to choose from this weekend with nine Douglas County teams playing at home.

South Umpqua (0-1, 1-2) entertains North Bend (0-0, 2-1); Sutherlin (1-0, 1-2) welcomes Siuslaw (1-0, 3-0); Douglas (1-0, 2-1) hosts a non-league game with Hidden Valley (2-1); Elkton (1-1, 2-1) takes on Powers (1-1, 1-1) in a Special District 2 matchup; Glide (2-1) hosts Illinois Valley; unbeaten Oakland (3-0) plays Nestucca; Riddle (0-3) takes on Myrtle Point (2-0); Reedsport is at North Douglas (0-2); and Camas Valley (1-0, 3-0) plays a Saturday home game with Hosanna Christian (1-1, 1-2).

Roseburg (1-0, 3-0) tries to make it four straight wins to start the season when the Indians travel to Thurston (1-0, 1-2); Days Creek heads to Portland Lutheran; and Yoncalla (3-0) opens the Special District 5 season at Mohawk (1-1).
