Douglas improved to 3-1 on the season with a 20-12 win over Hidden Valley in a non-league game in Winston.

Two other Far West League teams weren't as successfual Friday night as Sutherlin (1-1, 1-3)  lost to Siuslaw 56-12; and South Umpqua dropped to 0-2 in the Far West League after suffering a 51-21 setback to North Bend.

The Lancers (0-2, 1-3) led 21-20 at the break thanks to a pair of TD runs by Dakota Senger and a touchdown pass from Erik Johnson to Kristian Evans, but SU was outscored 31-0 in the second half.
