South Medford put an end to Roseburg's perfect season with a 30-21 win over the visiting Indians on Friday night.

The loss dropped RHS to 3-1 in conference and 5-1 overall. Meanwhile, the Panthers (2-2, 2-4) earned their second straight victory of the year after starting the season with four consecutive defeats.

North Medford (4-0, 5-1) took over first place with a 38-32 win over Thurston; Sheldon moved into a three-way tie for second place thanks to a 45-24 victory at winless Crater (0-4, 0-6); and Grants Pass (3-1, 3-3) beat South Eugene 31-14.

Elsewhere, Dakota Senger rushed for 312 yards and six touchdowns to lead South Umpqua (1-2, 3-3) to a 40-14 victory over Sutherlin. The win snapped the Lancers 19-game Far West League drought.

Sutherlin's Wryland McKnight gained 101 yards on the ground, including an 18-yard TD run.
