Douglas was no match for North Bend in a 48-15 loss Friday night in Winston.
The Trojans (2-2, 4-3) fell behind 34-0 in the first half before they finally got on the board just before halftime. Quarterback Jordan Shaffer ran for a score and threw a touchdown pass to Brandon Stewart.
South Umpqua extended its winning streak to three games with a 44-21 win over Marshfield.
Senior running back Dakota Senger rushed for 230 yards and five touchdowns in the Far West League victory at Pete Susick Stadium in Coos Bay. In the last three games, Senger has rushed for over 900 yards and 17 touchdowns.
Quarterback Erik Johnson passed for 233 yards and a pair of TD's to senior wide receiver Marcus Loper (84, 54). Johnson also rushed for 70 yards as the Lancers improved to 2-2 in league and 4-3 overall.
