Roseburg lost a out on a chance to take over sole possession of first place in the Southern Oregon Conference.

South Medford (5-1) handed the Indians a 2-1 defeat Saturday afternoon at Finlay Field.

With the loss, Roseburg (4-2) dropped into third place in the conference behind North Medford.

The Black Tornado (4-1) blew out winless Crater 10-1.
