Douglas travels to Sutherlin to close out the Far West League season Friday night.

The Trojans (3-2, 5-3) have already clinched the league's number three seed thanks to last week's 41-38 victory over South Umpqua. Meanwhile, Friday's game marks the 2013 finale for the Bulldogs (1-4, 1-7).

Elsewhere, South Umpqua (2-3, 4-4) hosts winless Brookings-Harbor (0-5, 0-8) in another Far West matchup. A win would give the Lancers a legitimate chance to capture the final spot in next week's Class 4A play-in round.

The Mountain View Conference title is on-the-line when Oakland (2-0, 7-1) travels to Monroe (2-0, 5-1); Riddle (0-3, 0-8) welcomes North Douglas (1-1, 2-5); Elkton (3-3, 4-4) plays a Special District 2 game at Prospect (4-3, 4-4); and Yoncalla (3-2, 6-2) is in Crow (1-4, 4-4).

There are three non-league games on the local schedule with Glide (3-4) traveling to Reedsport (5-2); Days Creek (7-1) heads to Glendale (1-3); and Camas Valley (8-0) plays Sherman (5-3) Saturday at Gilchrist High School.
