NMtopsRHS 6870Roseburg was held to just over 200 yards of total offense in a 14-10 loss to North Medford Friday night at Spiegelberg Stadium.

Quarterback Cody Walker scored on a five yard run in the first quarter to give the Indians (3-4, 5-4) a 7-0 advantage. After the Black Tornado narrowed the score to 7-6, Austin Walker kicked a 38 yard field goal and RHS had a 10-6 halftime lead.

North Medford took the lead for good on the opening play of the second half when Troy Folwer hooked up with Tristen Holmes for a 76 yard touchdown. The Black Tornado hung on for the four-point win and their first conference title since 2005.

Roseburg finished the regular season with four consecutive losses.
