Dakota Senger is the 2013 offensive Player of the Year in the Far West League.

The senior tailback rushed for 2010 yards and 27 touchdowns in eight regular season games. Senger averaged 8.6 yards per carry and more than three TD's per game.

Four other local players joined Senger on the first team including Lancer teammates Nick Sonka (OL) and Dakin Johnson (K); and Douglas High's Chance Wimberley (RB) and Bryce Averett (OL).

Douglas County athletes named first team defense were South Umpqua's Kristian Evans (DB), Justin Bennett (LB) and Erik Johnson (P); along with Austin Mitchell (DL) and Austin Porter (LB) of Douglas.
